"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Excuse me, but those sonic recolours you have in your gallery? They're not allowed here on dA, since you didn't draw them yourself. You could get into really big trouble if you keep them up; you could get suspended (short version of a ban), or a ban (which means you can't come back to dA). I'd hate to see someone banned because they don't know the rules, so here, please read these. They'll help you understand why you're not allowed to post recolours, most screenshots, etc on dA. I hope you find them helpful.
Also, it might be a good idea to delete the things in the gallery so that you aren't reported for art theft (which recolouring, tracing, and the like, is).
